This class is designed as an open field for any style painting, abstract or classical. If you are interested in learning painting from life, I will work with you in that direction. It is an individual approach and you will learn how to represent life on canvas exactly as you see it. But if you are interested in going the abstract route, that is also an option. If you would like to learn how masters like Rothko, Pollock or Kandinsky painted, what was their thinking and working process, this is the class also for you. No prior painting experience necessary, but be ready for some creative and conceptual thinking. If you have always wanted to try or you are ready to explore your ideas on canvas this class will help you grow and develop.Both Realistic and Abstract painting are fascinating and controversial, exceedingly complex yet remarkably simple. In this class we will discover paint as a magical material with thickness, thinness, value, temperature and many other qualities. Enroll in this class and learn about the techniques of painting and the theories on which they are based. You will receive individual critiques as you develop your work in class.
