Baby First Aid Practice

This 6 hour course is fast paced, intereactive, and fun! Lots of "hands on" practice using adult and infant manikins. Games and role play are used throughough the program to enhance learning.

Topics include:

Adult/Child/Infant CPR
AED training
Changing and feeding a baby
Babysitting safety and prevention of injury
Elements of First Aid for the young child
Stages of child development/games and activities to play
Getting your babysitting business started

General Notes
  • Course is taught by registered nurses who are certified instructors through the American Heart Association
  • In collaboration with Mobile Medical Training

Program Policies
  • The Recreation Department reserves the right to cancel any program due to insufficient registration or lack of instructor(s). If a program is cancelled by the Recreation Department, a full refund will be issued and no fee will be charged.
  • The Recreation Department will notify participants one (1) week prior to the start of the program in the event of a cancellation.
