Buying a Home May Still be Within Your Reach!
This is a 1.5 hour class that focuses on residential real estate financing and the home buying process. This course is primarily focused to educate buyers on the fundamentals of financing a property using a mortgage loan, how to qualify for financing, creating a housing budget, understanding new federal housing legislation and how it impacts buyers and understanding the IRS tax benefits of home ownership. Case studies on buy vs. rent analysis will be explored. The economic outlook as it relates to mortgage banking, property values, interest rates and the housing recovery will also be explored. Also discussed are ways to create a housing wish-list and property search criteria and a strategy for working with a real estate professional. This is an interactive class and questions are welcome.
