Laughter Yoga
Laughter Yoga is a new program for the Sharon Recreation Department! Learn how to add wellness and vitality to your life with laughter yoga! Laughter Yoga is a fun form of exercise that strengthens the immune system, unwinds the negative effects of stress, lowers blood pressure, improves mental alertness, enhances blood oxygen levels, boosts circulation, benefits your abdominal muscles, and makes you feel good in the here and now by lifting your spirits. Simulated laughter combined with gentle breathing techniques always turns into real laughter.
General Information
- You do not need to have any previous experience, equipment or a particular form of clothing to practice.
- There are no contortions or fancy movements.
- There is no joke-telling.
- Any level of physical ability can join us.
- Each session will have different exercises.

- Bill and Linda Hamaker are Certified Laughter Yoga instructors and the founders of the Let's Laugh Today Laughter Club which is in Franklin, MA. Ages 10 to 110 are welcome.
