Ballroom Dance - Intermediate
This class is an excellent stepping stone for students who have progressed and completed classes through the previous intermediate levels and would like to increase their proficiency to attain a higher level of social dance skills.
We will improve your ability to recognize and dance to bronze one syllabus figures with the accent on a smooth transition from one step to the next, in time to the beat of the music chosen.
Session I: Dance taught will be Samba, a Latin dance with strong recurring even beats traveling in a counterclockwise direction.
Session II: Dance taught will be Tango, a smooth dance but with fast, staccato actions, progressing in a counterclockwise direction.
