Intro to Musical Theater
Our goal is to educate the children, as well as their families, about what goes into the production of a musical.
General Information
- Instructed by South Shore School of Performing Arts
- Students may lip sync or sing to the songs that are chosen.
- The script is rewritten and edited by instructors.
- No costumes will be needed. Parents may wish to make a costume, but it is not required.
- It takes team effort to put a show like this together and to produce a final half hour to forty five minute production.
- Participants need not have dance or theatrical experience.
- All children are accepted.
- The final performance is free of charge for families and friends.
- Due to the accelerated pace of this program, parents may wish to work at home with children helping them memorize their lines and songs to assure success of the performance.
